Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (3 burnout subscales)
Indicated when burnout is suspected, in chronic occupational fatigue, after a sick leave for work-related stress, requests for psychosocial support related to work, or sustained exposure to high mental load.
Answer each question based on how you have felt during the LAST MONTH. The scale combines two response formats (frequency and intensity) — follow the prompt given in each section.
Any subscale ≥50: explore work-related factors (load, demands, control, social support). Consider mental-health referral + organisational measures (rotation, workload relief). Subscale ≥75: priority urgent intervention.
